RANCH RULES

1) All hunters must check in with the Premises staff and sign this Agreement before they are allowed to hunt. Please stay in designated pastures.

 

2) Only paid hunters will be authorized to hunt on the Premises.

 

3) No dogs are allowed unless under Owner's direct control/supervision.

 

4) All gates will be left as found. Main gate always closed and locked.

 

5) No person shall be allowed to hunt, carry a firearm (loaded or unloaded), swim, drive a vehicle, or participate in any dangerous activity under the influence of alcohol, drugs or prescribed medication. Although alcohol may be served or available for consumption on the Premises, no personal shall operate a motor vehicle, swim, carry a firearm, hunt or leave the Premises under the influence or in possession of alcohol consumed on the Premises.

 

6) All hunters will abide by all Texas Parks & Wildlife hunting rules and regulations. It is the responsibility of each hunter and guest to obtain a valid hunting license and any associated stamp or other governmental approval to hunt the species for which such hunter intends to hunt. Each hunter shall not exceed the daily and/or possession bag limit for game being hunted. When entering, riding in or exiting a vehicle (including all-terrain or off-road vehicles), any guest house, ranch headquarters at or near any improvements, or when entering or exiting a deer blind, all firearms shall be unloaded (including breech and magazines).

 

7) No driving off established ranch roads and NO LITTERING.

 

8) No hunter shall discharge a firearm from any vehicle at or near the ranch headquarters, guesthouse, across perimeter boundary fences or from or on the road.

 

9) Owner is not responsible for and the undersigned hereby releases Owner for any liability for loss or damage to any guest or hunter's equipment, supplies, firearms, vehicle, including any loss from damage due to fire, theft or weather.

 

l0) Each guest or hunter shall not exceed the driving speed of five (5) mph around the ranch headquarters, guesthouse and other improvements and twenty (20) mph on the roads located on the Premises.

 

11) Each hunter or guest shall only kill the number, gender and species of game for which

such hunter has paid Owner. Owner shall impose and each guest of Owner agrees to pay Owner a fee or fine for any game animal or bird killed or wounded by a hunter which has not been previously paid for or which has not been authorized by Owner.

 

12) Guest or Owner agrees to indemnify and hold Owner harmless from and against any loss, damage or destruction to any personal or real property, or any fixture located on the Premises, caused by such guest or hunter, any minor children under supervision and control of such guest or hunter.

 

13)  If blood is drawn and the animal is not found, guest or hunter must pay.

 

14) No crossbows unless doctor's note that guest or hunter cannot pull back a bow.

 

15) No shooting in direction of an oil or gas well or towards a road travelled by oil personal.

 

16)  Hunters and Guests are to stay in deer blind until picked up by the Owner.

 

17)  Hunters and Guests shall abide by hunting hours established by Owner.

 

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES, AS THE SAME MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME BY OWNER, OWNER SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO IMMEDIATELY REVOKE THE PERMISSION OF GUEST OR HUNTER TO BE ON THE PREMISES AND THE RIGHT TO EJECT SUCH GUEST OR HUNTER THEREFROM, IN WHICH CASE ANY DEPOSITS OR FEES PAID TO OWNER SHALL BE FOREFEITED BY SUCH GUEST OR HUNTER. OWNER MAY, BUT SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED TO, ENFORCE THESE RULES. OWNER IS REL YING UPON EACH HUNTER OR GUEST TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A RESPONSBILE AND SAFE MANNER AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND COMMON SENSE. OWNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR FAILING TO ENFORCE OR POLICE THESE RULES.
